Fast, fresh, healthy eating !

Today’s Jardin du Marché is the fruit of long-held convictions. In 2016, convinced that a good restaurant does not have to be fashionable or spectacular, Eglantine, a young woman with an eclectic background, opened this very special little place on the rue Gargouleau which attracts a regular and discerning clientele.

From your reception on arrival, to the presentation of your meal, from the seating to the crockery, from the colours to the lighting, from the ambiance to the acoustics, everything has been thought-through in detail so as to offer our guests a coherent and quality overall experience

In the Jardin du Marché you will eat 100% home-made

 locally-sourced, and healthy food.

Our producers, whose extensive farms are located just a few kilometres away, deliver seasonal produce each morning, which is then freshly cooked by the team headed by Gaétan, a chef with a passion for good food.

We have carefully selected the eggs, vegetables, fruit, meat, flour, cheeses…everything !

In the garden we are attentive Respect for our environment

For almost 20 years, Eglantine has been defending simple and generous catering, favoring quality and seasonal products, the short and local circuit and the lowest possible ecological impact while developing long-term partnerships with the most virtuous producers.

Thus, the team is proud to offer a regularly renewed card of constant quality, while achieving the feat of reducing the “food waste” to almost 0.

Our visitors, very often “flexitarian”, will thus be able to see that with us, the plant is growing while the meat is more discreet!

At the Jardin du Marché we are proud of our new initiatives

Despite these troubled times, for the restaurant industry in particular, we are convinced that now is the moment to take a step back. In particular, we want to “sharpen our focus”, and make decisions that will allow us to hold true to our beliefs in an even more committed way.

Since February 2021,we have switched to completely green energy using Enercoop.

Since January 2021, we have been planting 100 cedars in the forest of Le Faouêt in Morbihan with EcoTree.

From June onwards, we will be recycling and composting even more carefully with Altergaïa
